It is with
regret the Saint Clair Veterans Memorial Ambulance Fund Announces the death of
Steven A. Stonelake
MAY 31, 1984 - MAY 16, 2005
Our Brother Steven was reporting to Station 62 for a dayshift tour when his life
tragically came to an end

Steven will be sadly missed but never forgotten. His spirit will live
throughout the halls of our stations. Today we mourn our loss but every
day we will celebrate his life.

website and feel free to leave reflections about Steven in our Guest Book.
Volunteers,
God Bless Them
Many will be
shocked to find
When the day of judgment nears
That there's a special place in heaven
Set aside for volunteers.
Furnished with big recliners,
Satin couches and footstools,
Where there's no committee chairmen,
No group leaders or car pools.
No eager team that needs a coach,
No bazaar and no bake sale,
There will be nothing to staple,
Not one thing to fold or mail.
Telephone lists will be outlawed,
But a finger snap will bring
Cool drinks and gourmet dinners
And treats fit for a king.
You ask, "Who'll serve these privileged few
And work for all they're worth?"
Why, all those who reaped the benefits
And not once volunteered on Earth.
